MISSION:

Army Birthday Ball Association – Korea (ABBA-K) is a private, all-volunteer, not for profit organization that’s sole purpose is to provide social and recreational activities for services members and spouses to participate in activities of a patriotic nature. ABBA-K is not affiliated with the DoD.

ABBA-K aims to honor the heritage of the US Army by independently raising funds to host the annual Army Ball for US Army forces in Korea. Army forces are invited to incorporate official ceremonies into each annual event.

Membership:

The majority Membership (51%) shall be comprised of DoD Members and their dependents to meet requirements of a USAG-Humphreys Private Organization authorizations.

501(c)(19) status:

ABBA-K has 501(c)(19) status with the US Internal Revenue Service. Certain restrictions on membership also apply for this status.
